1852: Performed on Tuesday 13 April and again on 21 April by the Amateur Company under the title The Thumping Legacy in the Garrison Theatre, as one of two fundraisers for the survivors of the troop ship Birkenhead. It played as afterpiece to Don Caesar de Bazan, or Love and Honour (Webster and Boucicault).
1855: Performed under the title The Cockney in Corsica
in the Drawing Room Theatre, Cape Town, on Friday 13 July 1855 by Sefton Parry, as a benefit performance for the Patriotic Fund, along with A Capital Match (J.M. Morton) and Monsieur Jacques (Barnett).
