The Lady of Belmont (1925) by English playwright St John Ervine (1883-*). In this play the characters of The Merchant of Venice were carried a stage further on their life’s journey. Presented by the Repertory Players in the Standard Theatre, starring Seals Wood, Elsie Salomon, G. Absalom, D.J. Louw, O. Lazar, F. Marx as Narissa. Directed by Ethel Mann. March 1929.
