First produced by NTO in its NTO Kamertoneel in 1959, directed by Smit himself, with Milla Louw as Moeder Hanna, Johan Malherbe as Ouboeta, Jan Bruyns as Bart Harmse, Siegfried Mynhardt Oupa and Lynette Kotzé as the daughter. Performed as a double bill with Meisies van Vervloë Jare. It was followed from 27 July to 1 August 1959 in the Bellville Kamertoneel with Babs Laker, Leonora Nel, Jan van Zyl, Cobus Rossouw and Matthys du Toit, this time with Die Les as a double bill. Robert Mohr directed.

Performed by CAPAB in 1970 on the cancellation of Putsonderwater as a double bill with an Afrikaans version of Chekov's The Proposal.
