(18*-18*) Madame Victor , actress, billed as a "pupil of the Royal Academy in Paris". A member of the French Dramatic Artistes from Mauritius which arrived in Cape Town in 1848 under the leadership of Dalle Case and also included her husband, L. Victor; X. Hus; C. Crosset and Mme Crosset and others. In February 1848 she joined Case's local professional French theatre company called the Dalle Case Company, but by March 1848 the company had to close. She then worked for the Theatre de L'Union, formed in March 1848, but by the end of September the company had disappeared.
