Referred to as a "Boerewors-western" it is the second in the Dingetjie series of comedies, inspired by the Terence Hill and Bud Spencer "spaghetti westerns" and written by C.F. Beyers-Boshoff and directed by Ivan Hall. Set in the 1930's, it tells of a gang that has been terrorizing the locals, who are confronted by Dingetjie and Daan, two mismatched brothers who are employed by a local matriarch to guard her cattle.
