Alexis Petersen is a singer and performer.

Biography
Alexis did drama at school and afterwards studied classical music under Virginia Davids at UCT (Performance Diploma in Music, Classical Voice).
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Her stage performances include roles in Calling Us Home (2018), Langarm (2018-19), The Little Mermaid 2019, 2019-20 in Danger in the Dark, Living Coloured 2020, Orpheus McAdoo (as "Lucy Moten", 2024). Opera work includes: La Traviata (Artscape; 2015), Le Nozze di Figaro (Baxter Theatre Centre; 2015), FOUR:30 (Artscape; 2015).
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Awards, etc
2019: Lara Foot, artistic director of the Baxter Theatre gave her the Artist of the Year Award.
