Die Óórmaak van Mnr Venter ("A make-over for Mr Venter") is an Afrikaans one-act farce in four scenes by Anton Haarhoff (1945-).

The original text

The Venter children are organising a dance party at their home and are embarrassed by their father's old-style clothing and manner, so they try to remake him in a more contemporary fashion. However, when he pitches up in blue suede shoes and shows his dancing moves, they find they may have created something they do not want...
