Born James Alexander in Boksburg, Transvaal, on 8 January, 1978
Died on 28 April, 2023 of cancer.
He was married to actress Anel Alexander.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Film/TV work includes roles in Discreet (2008), Leonardo (2011). Semi-Soet (2012) and Eye in the Sky (2015).

On stage he has appeared in Damsels in Distress – RolePlay and in Discreet written by Joshua Rous with his wife Anel Alexander at the Grahamstown and other festivals. In 2006 he was seen in Hedda Gabler and in 2007 in The Unexpected Guest (Beeld 23 January 2007). In Doubt he appeared as "Father Flynn" in 2015.
Acted on film and television in Binnelanders, Houtkruis, and other productions.
As producer/writer (under the name James Alexander) involved in the film Semi-Soet
