Lone Star and Pvt. Wars are two short plays by James McClure (1951–2011[1], usually performed as a double-bill.

The original text
Lone Star and Pvt. Wars were first performed at the Humana Festival at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, then presented off-Broadway in 1979.

1981: Performed as a double bill called Lone Star/Private Wars at the Market Theatre in May, directed by Bobby Heaney with Graham Clarke, Wilson Dunster, Eckard Rabe.
