Performance history in South Africa
The popular comedy became a huge money-spinner for Pieter Toerien, while also netting a number of awards for the performers in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
1988: It opened at the Alhambra Theatre, Johannesburg on 7 August 1988 and at the Theatre on the Bay on Saturday 10 December. Directed by Tobie Cronjé with Natalie Gamsu, Kate Normington, Gaby Lomberg, Maralin Vanrenen and Suanne Braun. Original music by Kevin Feather, choreography by Sandy Dyer.
19**: Revived under the direction of Maralin Vanrenen, starring Sarah Theron, Bronwyn Evans, Anne Stradie, Lisa Melman, Taryn Sudding, Michele Maxwell.
