Vakansie in Europa is an Afrikaans one-act comedy by Jac J. Brits.

The original text
A play about a man who wins a huge sum of money. Many people have advice for him about what to do with the money, but his own dream is a vacation in Europe. However, he then realizes, he cannot keep his children out of school for such a length of time, and thus his dream fades...
First published in Die Drie Weë: Vier Eenbedrywe by Tafelberg in 1970 and later also in Kollig: Vyf Eenbedrywe by Tafelberg Uitgewers in 1982.
