Prometheus is musical comedy in Afrikaans by Ben Dehaeck.

A bilingual (Afrikaans and English) musical skit based on a conflation of the tale of Prometheus and the story of Adam, Eve and the Serpent.

The text unpublished, but a copy found in the Stellenbosch Drama Department archives in 2022.

Performance history in South Africa

1996: Presented by the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department in the H.B. Thom Theatre in April 1996. The director was Ralph Lawson and the cast included Quint Meyer, Paul du Toit, Gaerin Hauptfleisch, Nicole Holm, Amelda Brand and others.
