Defending the Caveman by Rob Becker. A one man show satirising relationships between men and woman. An enormously popular play in South Africa from the 1990s, performed by Tim Plewman and produced initially by Pieter Toerien. (The rights later transferred to Plewman.) Ran for ** years at vast profit. An Afrikaans translation entitled Groet die Grotman (“Greet the Caveman”) was done by Koos Kombuis in 2005, performed by Hannes Muller.
