Born Dulcie Smit and initially performed under that name (or as Dulsie Smit). After she married Gert van den Bergh, she performed as Dulcie van den Bergh.
Mother of Regardt van den Bergh.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She took over as "Mariane" from Enone van den Bergh when Die Vrek (as Dulcie Smit, NTO 1951) was taken on tour.
Other appearances on stage were in Vereeniging, Vereniging, (PACT 1984) and Die Vonkel in Haar Oë! ([[CAPAB 1989).
