Out on the Sly is a "burlesque farce" in one act by Charles Selby (1802?-1863)[1]
Also found as Out on the Sly, or A Day at Rosherville and as Out on the Sly, or A Fête at Rosherville! (now styled "a terpsichorean burletta in one act").

The original text
First performed as Out on the Sly, or A Fête at Rosherville! in the Adelphi Theatre, London, on the 12th July, 1847. Published as Out on the Sly by Duncombe and Moon, 1847.
