Nathi Rula (1953-2015) was a South African stage, television, film and radio actress. Also credited as Natie Rula.

Biography
She was born and educated in Cape Town.
She is best known for her role as Nontombi Mthembu in the SABC 1 soap opera Generations.

Worked for The Space in the 1970s, acting in The Final Sting of the Dying Wasp, Lysistrata S.A., The Resistable Rise of Arturo UI and The Sacrifice of Kreli. *
She appeared in several productions for The People's Space including Lysistrata S.A., The Sacrifice of Kreli, The Final Sting of the Dying Wasp, This Time Tomorrow, The Resistable Rise of Arturo UI and Dikichining as well as in in Call me Woman and It's a Boy!. She played Christine in Miss Julie in 1985 and had a role in Vrygrond in 1993.
In addition to considerable experience as a radio actress, Natie has also appeared in the films Maxhosa, Harry's Kid and Zambezi and as Nontombi Mthembu in Generations on television.
