Die Hele Dorp Weet ("The whole town knows") is an Afrikaans film
Based on the eponymous novel Die Hele Dorp Weet by Santie Grosskopf, it tells of a girl who goes in search of her father after the parents decide to divorce and explores the devastating effects of a divorce on a family.
The film produced and distributed by Carfo films, Bill Troskie for Constantia Films in 1975. The screenplay was by Santie Grosskopf and Daan Retief, the film directed by Daan Retief with a cast that included Erna van der Bergh, Petru Wessels, Dawid van der Walt and Wena Naudé.
The film was remade in 1975 by Constantia Films, the second version being called Soekie, was made in 1975.
