Soekie is an Afrikaans film

Based on the novel Die Hele Dorp Weet by Santie Groskopf, it tells of a girl who goes in search of her father after the parents decide to divorce and explores the devastating effects of a divorce on a family.

The film produced by Bill Troskie for Constantia Films in 1975. Directed by with a cast that included Erna van der Bergh, Petru Wessels, Dawid van der Walt and Wena Naudé.


This was the second time the novel had been filmed, the first version, called [Die Hele Dorp Weet]], was made in 1961.
