Came to South Africa as a member of the Holloway Theatre Company in 1895 to play Desdemona in Othello and Cordelia in King Lear at the Standard Theatre in Johannesburg. She also acted in the Haviland and Lawrence Shakespearian & Dramatic Company production of William Shakespeare's comedy, Much Ado About Nothing, at the Port Elizabeth Opera House on January 3 & 4, 1898, which was directed by William Haviland. Co-starred with William Haviland and Gerald Lawrence. She played for Leonard Rayne for many years. Made a speech in 1910?*
