Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Through his personal generosity, influential business contacts and perseverance he contributed to the opening of the Market Theatre. One of the first seven Trustees of the Market Theatre Foundation. Later he and his wife moved to France and he proposed John Wall, to become his successor as one of the Trustees of The Market Theatre Foundation.
