Da [1] is a 1978 comedy play by Irish dramatist Hugh Leonard [2] (1926-2009). It earned Leonard both a Tony Award [3] and a Drama Desk Award [4] for Best Play.

1979: Performed at the André Huguenet Theatre, Johannesburg and at the Baxter Theatre, Cape Town for Toerien-Firth Company, directed by Leonard Schach. The cast: Michael McGovern (Charlie Now), Garalt MacLiam (Oliver), Godfrey Quigley (Da), Ann Courtneidge (Mother), Michael Maxwell (Young Charlie), Bill Smale (Drumm), Corinne Willoughby (Mary Tate and Pauline Bailey (Mrs Prynne). Designs by Stan Knight.
