He studied at the Stellenbosch University Drama Department.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He acted in Testosmoroon (2003) and in Toorberg (2005).
His play Oupa en Ouma sit op die stoep was performed at Aardklop in 2009. This was followed by Oupa en Ouma sit op die stoep en raak romanties in 2013.
Leon wrote and directed Ou Blare and Hie' Sit die Manne, acted in Mike van Graan’s Die Generaal, God van Chaos (2011), Net ‘n Chilliburger en Chips Asseblief!, wrote and performed in Klei, wrote Strip! and Skollies.
