The original text
Written for the Rederijkers, it was published in Volume 4 of Poëzij voor Rederijkers by P.M. van de Made, Amsterdam, in 1858.

1871: Performed by Aurora II in the hall of the Germania Hall, Cape Town on 6 July, with De Twee Huisknechts (Arnold) as an afterpiece.
