Left for England to teach in the Department of ** at the University of ** in England (19**-198*). Appointed Professor of Drama at the University of Cape Town Drama Department of which he became Chair of the Department from 1990. Retired in 2000*?

He worked for CAPAB from 1971 acting in He acted in Fando en Lis and Die Twee Laksmanne (1971), King Lear (CAPAB 1971), When Thou Art King (1971), Romeo and Juliet (1972, Hond se Gedagte (1971), Die Twee Laksmanne, Crossing the Line (1989), The Stronger (1972).
