Meester The stage play (1927)
Meester is stage play in four acts by D.F. Malherbe (1881-1969). About a travelling Dutch teacher in a rural area who falls in love. First (?*) production by the GUK Dramatic Society with Malherbe himself in the cast, along with Benedictus Kok and Bram Fischer (1929). First published Nasionale Pers, 1927.

Direxcted by Annie Basson, with Hannes Müller, Susan Coetzer, Eric Nobbs, Danny Keogh, Tess van Staden, Lida Botha, Johan Botha, Elize Cawood, Wilson Dunster, Nico Liebenberg, Neil Sandilands, Rochelle Spies and Gilbert Terblanché. Won the SABC prize for TV dramas.
