Prophet of the Waterberg is a play by Nicky Rebelo. The full title, with subtitle, reads: Prophet of the Waterberg: in search of the soul of Eugene Marais - a story of survival, drugs, sex and politics.

2005: Premiere production staged at the KKNK, directed by Nicky Rebelo, with Dawid Minnaar (Eugene Marais), David Butler (Mike le Roux) and Bianca Clarke (Edna le Roux). Set designer Nadia Cohen, lighting designer Wesley France.

2006: The same production was staged in the Barney Simon Theatre at the Market Theatre.
