He played in a student production of The Threepenny Opera in 1987.
He directed Talk Radio (1998), The Great Gatsby, Veldfire (2002). He wrote and directed Gums and Noses (2002), co-directed Elephant of Africa (early 1990s). They Say Heaven is like TV was directed by Craig for PACT, winning the Vita Potpourri Prize in 1992.
He wrote the plays The King of Laughter, Gorfinkel and Son (staged at the Barney Simon Theatre Feb-March 2000) (NELM catalogue),
