Biography
Training
She studied at the University of Stellenbosch and trained at the Akademie vir Dramakuns under Babs Laker. She subsequently studied at Unisa and Trinity College in London.
Career
Began her career as an actress for PACOFS.

Annie joined the SABC in 19** and went on to become a well known director of documentaries, among which a most valuable and widely researched 13 part history of theatre in South Africa, entitled ** and broadcast by the SABC in the late 1970s. She directed the television seies Meester. She eventually joined Danie Odendaal to be the co-producer of the acclaimed and immensely popular soap opera, Sewende Laan ("Seventh Avenue").
