De Echtgenoot Kluizenaar ("the husband hermit"), is a 1809 Dutch translation by Cornelis van der Vijver of Die Beichte by August Friedrich Ferdinand Von Kotzebue (1761-1819)[1]. The translation was based on the 1807 French version, Le Mari Ermite by Jean François Boursault-Malherbe.
