Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
A member and in one programme named as "Director", of the short-lived City Amateur Theatrical Society in Cape Town in 1854. He no doubt performed in a number of their productions, and is specifically mentioned as playing the lead in The Mendicant (Beckett) on 21 August 1854.
