There are a large number of performance venues on the campus of the University of the Witwatersrand that have been used for theatre productions over the years. Today they are managed by the division of Performing Arts Administration.
Among them are:
The Amphitheatre
The Nunnery
The Wits Box
The Wits Great Hall
The Wits Theatre Complex (which houses the Wits Downstairs Theatre, and the Main Theatre).
They are today run commercially by the division Performing Arts Administration, but also used by the Division of Dramatic Arts of the Wits School of Arts.
