Her career started in 1978. She was senior stage manager at the Market Theatre during which time she staged managed numerous productions including 14 local and 3 international tours: Born in the RSA in Britain and USA, Sarafina! at the Linclon Centre in New York and Have You Seen Zandile in Germany and Holland.
