The Shipwreck is a "ballet" performed in Cape Town in 1815. According to F.C.L. Bosman (1928) it may possibly have been an English verion of , in its turn a a three act Dutch version of Miß Fanny, oder Der Schiffbruch ("Miss Fanny or the shipwreck"), a German tragedy in five acts by Johann Christian Brandes.
