Lorna Cowell. (19** -) was a South African actress.


She was a member of the first with the National Theatre Organisation company, which toured the country in 1948. Other members were i.a. André Huguenet, Siegfried Mynhardt, Leon Gluckman, Frank Wise, Vivienne Drummond, Mathilde Hanekom and Enone van den Bergh. Inter alia, she appeared in Dear Brutus and The Firstborn for them.

Other performances included roles in the Brian Brooke production of Charley’s Aunt in 1960; the Neill-Firth Company production of Caste (T.W. Robertson) at the Intimate Theatre in 1968; PACT's production of A Month in the Country in 1969; the Market Theatre production of Skirmishes in 197*.
