Biography
He was born in England, has lived in South Africa since 1969 although he appeared in several South African productions before that date.

Joined CAPAB as an actor/director in 1972 until 1977.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
In 1956 he starred in Leslie French's The Tempest for the Johannesburg REPS. He starred in Odd Man In (Anthony Farmer Productions, 1958).
His appearances at Maynardville include A Midsummer Night's Dream (1957), The Tempest (1973), The Taming of the Shrew (1965 and 1996), The Merchant of Venice (2008).
Performed in Story Theatre, The Merchant of Venice (as “Lancelot Gobbo”), Christian (for Brickhill-Burke), Jumpers (at the Market Theatre), Don't Drink the Water (with NAPAC), Kismet (with PACT), The Taming of the Shrew (with NAPAC), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (with PACT), Cinderella (with PACT), Anyone for Denis (at the Baxter Theatre and at the Market Theatre (1983), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (PACT 1982),Anyone for Denis? (1983), and in Robinson Crusoe (with PACT 1983/4), Under Milk Wood (1995).
For CAPAB he had roles in The Circus Adventure (1973), , Three Cheers for President Charlie (1974), Rookery Nook (1975), The Alchemist (CAPAB 1975), Mr Rhodes and the Princess (1976).
He directed The Playboy of the Western World (CAPAB 1976), The Kimberley Circus (at the Baxter Theatre 1978), Lucky Dip, Rattle of a Simple Man (Colin Law production, 1981), As You Like It (at Pretoria Technikon) and Lear - The Soap Opera (for Setwork Theatre).
In later years he starred in Amadeus (Baxter 2006), participated in The Baxter Storytelling Festival at The Baxter Theatre Centre (in association with Sibikwa Community Theatre Project) and in the revue Atkinson at 80 – The Importance of Being Michael, (2007).
He designed the décor for prodcutions of Journey's End and Spring Quartet (Cockpit Players, 1956).
