Biography

Daughter of Philip Bawcombe, industrial artist. Married to Adrian Galley.

Training

She began her studies at the University of Pretoria, transferred to UCT and graduated with a BA Performers Diploma (Bilingual) in 1983.

Career

Joined CAPAB Drama in 1984. In 1987 she moved to Johannesburg to freelance. Her activities include writing, live TV broadcasts and film.

She had roles in The Prince and the Sphinx, I Ought to be in Pictures (1985), Diplomatic Baggage, Women Behind Bars (1984), As You Like It, Blithe Spirit (1989), The Insect Play, Zerbinaetta in Die Jakkalsstreke van Scapino , Measure for Measure, The Winter's Tale, Bremen Coffee, Getting Out, The Broken Heart, Kings of Rok.
