She enjoyed a highly successful career at the Maddermarket Theatre in Norwich, UK. Her wide repertoire includes Saint Joan, Raina in Arms and the Man as well as Lysistrata, Medea, Amanda in Private Lives and Helena in Look Back in Anger.

She made her South African debut as Candida in Candida in 1968.
