My Sister in this House, by Wendy Kesselman. The playwright uses the same historical material which inspired Jean Genet’s The Maids.

Directed by Mary Dreyer, designs by Birrie le Roux, lighting Mark Behrens, starring Diane Wilson (Madame Danzard), Fiona Coyne (Isabelle), Belinda Koning (Christine), Pauline O’Kelly (Lea), Ralph Lawson (Voice of medical examiner), Marthinus Basson (Voice of photographer), David Clatworthy (Voice of judge). This production was also presented at the Grahamstown Festival, 1989.
