("Goat song") a play by Breyten Breytenbach (1998). His first full-length play (interpretation by the author in Beeld, 15 April 1998). First published by Human & Rousseau in 1998.
Performance history in South Africa
First produced at the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees in Oudtshoorn in 1998, directed by Marthinus Basson (for which he was awarded the De Kat Herrie Prize) with Grethe Fox, Emile Serfontein (Ritsos), Nomhle Nkonyeni (Isis), Gustav Geldenhuys (Tereus), Dawid Minnaar, Antoinette Kellermann, Duma Mnembe and Brian Heydenrych.
