El Grande de Coca Cola is a comedy that deals with a wannabe theatre impresario who decides to stage a cabaret with his inexperienced family as cast after receiving sponsorship from a soft drink company - with hilarious consequences. In 1973, the Mexican cabaret-parody El Grande de Coca Cola made its premiere off-Broadway.
PACT staged a revival of El Grande de Coca Cola with direction by Michael Richard and starring Elizabeth Rae, Wilson Dunster, Gillian Harris, Etienne Puren and Alan Goldstein in the Arena Theatre, Rosebank in 1979.
