Performance history in South Africa
The South African première was presented by CAPAB in the Nico Malan Theatre on 6 November 1986, followed by a performance in the H.B. Thom Theatre on 27 November 1986. Directed by Esther van Ryswyk, with Jannie Gildenhuys, Ivan Abrahams, Wayne Bowman and André Roothman. Designed by Peter Krummeck. Lighting by Malcolm Hurrell.
