by Kevin Feather. A cabaret-style mini-musical which depicts one night in the life of three street hookers who share their dreams and realities, their trials and tribulations.
Performances
First opened on August 13, 1985 in The Laundro, a small experimental venue under the stage of the Alexander Theatre in Johannesburg. It enjoyed sell-out seasons, standing ovations and acclaim from the media when it played for three years all over South Africa.
In 1995 it went to the Edinburgh Festival where it also garnered rave reviews.
In 2013 produced again by Daphne Kuhn from 26 November to 21 December at the Auto and General Theatre on the Square in Sandton. Directed by Kevin Feather, with choreography by Owen Lonzar, and featuring Judy Ditchfield, Ilse Klink and Caitlin Clerk, with Kevin Feather on the piano.
