A puppet show put on by the so-called "Automata" or "Automaton Figures", large mechanical puppets, of W.F.H. Parker.
Performance history in South Africa
Brought to in Cape Town by Mr Parker in 1837, when it was performed along with The Enchanted Turk, the dramatic play Children in the Wood and Joey Grimaldi's Trip to Brentford.
