Two for the Seesaw (1958), a critically acclaimed two-character play written by William Gibson (1914-2008). It was Gibson's Broadway debut and it starred Henry Fonda and, in her own Broadway debut, Anne Bancroft. It was directed by Arthur Penn.
In South Africa, the Cockpit Players staged the play in Cape Town, starring Fiona Fraser and John Hayter in 1962.
