JOHN, Yango. (19*-1990) Impressario. * He formed a company call Phoenix Interworld in partnership with Hymie Udwin. He hired the Metro to present Trini Lopez in 1967. Together with Hymie Udwin and Dave Levin, he imported Colin Welland and Basil Lord to star in One for the Pot for the Academy in December 1967. It starred Ray Cooney and Tony Hilton and was directed by Lord. He brought the Japanese Shochiku Revue Troupe form Tokyo’s Kokusai Theatre to perform at His Majesty’s Theatre in October 1973.
