Marcia Leveson had a distinguished career in the English Department at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), where one of her specialities was South African Literature, a field in which she has published extensively. She is presently a Honorary Research Fellow at Wits. Marcia has edited anthologies of fiction and poetry, including that of Roy Campbell and Vincent Swart and also teaches, publishes, edits, writes poetry and short stories and runs Quartz Press.
