Biography
He was the former Weekend Post news editor and Arts editor for The Herald. He started working exclusively for the paper in 1996.

As an actor
He appeared in a number of productions, including: Ritual for Dolls (PEMADS, 1985), The Taming of the Shrew (Port Elizabeth Shakespearean Festival, 1989), M. Butterfly (CAPAB & Port Elizabeth Shakespearean Festival, 1991), Twelfth Night (Port Elizabeth Shakespearean Festival, 1993), An Ideal Husband (PEMADS, 2003), Blithe Spirit (PEMADS, 2010).
As playwright
He wrote a number of plays, including:
- Fade to Black (1993)
- Summit (1995)
Awards
He won a Vodacom Journalist of the Year award.
