Story Theatre refers to two titles: a play by Paul Sils and a production devised by Jill Girard and Joyce Levinsohn.

The original text
It is a set of modern adaptations of Grimm and Aesop folk fables. It opened on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre on October 26, 1970.

1974: Produced by PACT and directed by Aubrey Berg with Frantz Dobrowsky, Janice Honeyman, Paul Slabolepszy, Richard Haines and Eckard Rabe.
1975: Presented by CAPAB at the Hofmeyr Theatre, opening 5 April.
1988: Presented by Rhodes University Drama Department directed by Sydney James in March and April.
