Die Lied van die Reën ("the song of the rain") is a story by (1871-1936)

The story first appeared in Die Boerevrou in 1921.

In 2024 it was recorded for radio broadcast by Luisterverhale, as a project undertaken by Katinka Heyns and Sonneblom Ateljees, in partnership with LitNet and sponsored by the Dagbreek Trust. (The Luisterverhale project seeks to have short stories by well known Afrikaans authors are read by professional actors for transmission.)

This audio version, subtitled "'n Koranna-dwaalstorie", was directed by Katinka Heyns and read by Marcel van Heerden.
