Heinrich Marnitz (1945-), radio and TV announcer and actor.


BEING WRITTEN

Biography

Born in Johannesburg, attended High School Linden where he was Head Boy.



Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He and Dorianne Berry were the announcers in the first television broadcast in South Africa on 5 January, 1976.

Film roles include 'n Bruidsbed vir Tant Nonnie (TV drama, 1976), Dit was Aand en dit was Môre (film, 1977)


In 2008 he joined Pretoria FM radio and in 2025 announced his retirement from from radio work.
